My name is Brandon W. Jones. Welcome to Leadership Done Right!
I am passionate about leadership because in today’s business and economic climate there is a strong need for effective value centered leadership. There are many great leaders striving to help their people be successful, while at the same time there are far too many leaders only in it for themselves. My purpose is to help you see leadership in a new light. Leadership should be focused on helping your people succeed which in turn leads to a successful organization and ultimately your success as the leader.
During my career I have held various positions in leadership, project management, team development, and personnel management. I have also held positions in engineering which has helped me to develop a strong technical background. Leadership done right happens when leaders have a strong understanding of the both the technical aspects of the company and the interpersonal leadership and management skills.
To learn some of the basics of engineering and leadership, I earned my bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University – Idaho and masters degree in business administration (MBA) at the University of Nevada – Reno. I currently work as a supervisor of engineering for a natural gas utility company.
