With the New Year upon us, many have new goals and a renewed sense of purpose. Here at Leadership Done Right, I also have goals for the New Year. My main goal is to take a more strategic approach to bring higher consistent value to you, the readers.

In my post, Be Strategic in Your Posts, I explained three points for both why and how you should take a strategic approach to your website and/or business. One of the keys to following through on your strategic approach is to tell people about it. With that in mind, I am going to use this post to explain my strategic approach.
What is the new Strategic Approach?
1. Theme based strategic approach.
As I’ve posted on Leadership Done Right, I’ve written on a variety of topics related to leadership. Each post has covered a new topic and overall they have varied significantly from one week to the next.
Going forward, the posts will follow a theme-based approach focusing on the same topics for weeks at a time. This will enable me to expound more on the topics over a series of posts instead of just posting small bits of information at a time.
2. Consistently post at least three times a week.
In the past I also posted on the site very inconsistently. Sometimes I posted seven days a week while other times I did not post for several weeks at a time. This pattern of inconsistency has been very confusing for you as the readers because you have not known when the next post would be.
My New Year’s goal is to post consistently with a minimum of three posts per week. I will have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as my main post days. I may also write posts on other days of the week from time to time.
3. Start an email newsletter.
In an effort to further connect with you as my readers, I am starting an email newsletter. In the newsletter, I will be more personal in nature and give you updates on what’s going on at Leadership Done Right. I will also let you know my schedule for future posts and my thought process behind how and why I am posting on each subject.
4. Create leadership guides and other related resources.
Up to this point, I have focused on writing articles for you to read at Leadership Done Right. I have not, however, expanded beyond posts.
Going forward, I will be creating leadership tools and guides. I am also writing a book that I will be publishing in the spring. My goal with these products is to produce a valuable product that will help you in your leadership endeavors.
5. Post video blogs on a regular basis.
I have posted video blogs in the past, but it has been on an inconsistent basis. In an effort to be more personal with you as me readers, I am going to create and post videos on a more frequent basis. The videos will also coincide with the monthly topics.
I am not a professional when it comes to producing videos, so you will have to forgive my inexperience. I am doing all I can to improve the quality of my videos on a regular basis so they look professional and are worth watching.
What is your thought on this new strategic approach?
With this new approach, my goal is to connect with you. I want to write quality content that will keep you coming back for the next post. Please let me know your thoughts on my goals for the New Year. Do you like this new approach? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below!
