It’s ironically, correct that the leader is usually one to blame when things don’t go right: a case of uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. Nevertheless, where delegation and functionality of roles are informed, questions start to be asked as to ‘why’ such delegated activity failed – then it becomes the liability of the operational team as distinct from the wider group.
