For this week’s Friday quote, I would like to share a poem that I heard by a good friend of mine. I like the poem so much that I told my wife about it and she made it into a decorative saying and put it in a frame for me.
Be The Man
The MAN who decides what he wants to achieve
and works till his dreams all come true,
The MAN who will alter his course if he must
and BRAVELY begin something new.
The MAN who’s determined to MAKE his world better,
who’s willing to learn and to lead,
The MAN who keeps trying and doing his best
is the MAN who knows how to SUCCEED.

You Can Succeed!
This poem is titled “Be The Man,” but it is just as applicable to women as it is to men. I really like this poem because it gives me courage to work hard, do my best, be willing to try new things, and set and obtain goals.
Work Till Dreams Come True
I have a strong belief and faith in God. I also firmly believe that if you work hard and do your best to follow His will, He will bless you in many ways. You can make your dreams come true, but you must put God first. Your dreams may come true in a different way than what you expect, but God will bless you to be able to fulfill your own dreams.
Bravely Begin Something New
Sometimes when you want to make a difference in the world or reach your dreams, you have to do something new and different. That may be as simple as taking a new approach to what you are currently doing. If that is the case it is just a matter of adapting and improving.
You may, however, have to move, start a new job or career, or do something completely different altogether. One of my dreams was to become an engineer in management for a strong and stable company. To get that, I had to do something completely new. I moved across the country and now work as an engineering supervisor for a great strong company.
Willing To Learn and To Lead
You must learn the skills and abilities to succeed. Whether that is through formalized training, on the job training, reading good books, or just from learning from the lessons of others, learning new skills is very important.
Once you learn what you need to know, you can succeed and be a leader by entering your own uncharted waters. Be a leader by going after what is best for you.
Keep Trying and Do Your Best
You can’t control anything or anyone other than yourself. You control your own actions and choices. You can succeed by doing your very best in life to learn more. When you do your best, you can learn your own limits and overcome them. You can also learn about your hidden abilities. By doing your best, you can be at peace knowing there was nothing more you could do at the end of each day.
