How You Can Be An Intentional Leader

Intentional leaders look at life differently than the average person. They realize that success and progress don’t just happen by chance. They happen as a direct result of actions. Therefore, intentional leaders conscientiously choose what they will do with their time and energy.

So why should leaders be intentional?

The Center for Intentional Leadership explains that “Intentional Leadership® is an approach that aligns desired outcomes, core values, and fundamental purpose for a significant increase in results.”

Great leaders are intentional in the following areas:

  • Their leadership
  • Setting personal and team goals
  • Scheduling their time
  • Personal development and gaining education
  • Planning projects
  • Setting deadlines
  • Coaching those they lead

What does this means to you?

  • Be intentional
  • Create your own plan
  • Set goals and to accomplish them
