Questions to Ask Interviewers

This is a guest post by Marry Adams. She is works for a multinational company in the United Kingdom. She shares experience through writing articles on Research Paper Papa. She has had three jobs in five years and has great knowledge about the questions you must ask the employer at the time of interview.

Questions to Ask Interviewers

In this present age, people are always looking for a better job opportunity where they work and earn money. Lots of job seekers are working hard to prepare themselves for answering the interview questions. On the other side, job seekers often forget to ask the questions from the employer at the time of interview. In this article, we will discuss important questions that you should ask from the employer.

Ask questions about skills and experience

At the time of asking questions from the interviewer, you must ask first the required skills and experience regarding a particular opportunity. This is a good question in which you can clearly understand the job description for a specific vacancy. If the interviewer wants those skills and qualities that you are not able to do, then you should tell them. You don’t want to put yourself in a position where you are in over your head. Leadership Development – Your #1 Responsibility

Leadership Development - Your #1 Responsibility

When I was in my early 20’s, I had a leader that recognized potential in me. He felt like I could be a great leader someday so over the next two years, he held leadership development sessions with me on a regular basis. During those sessions he helped me recognize my strengths and how to leverage them. He also helped me overcome some of my weaknesses. He taught me many great leadership lessons. Those leadership development sessions helped me understand what I could become.

Leadership Development

That leader was a great leader. His leadership development sessions helped me to be the person I am today. Those lessons have stuck with me through the years.

As a leader, you have the ability to provide leadership development sessions for those you lead. You can use this as an opportunity to help them grow to become great leaders. When they become great leaders, everyone benefits.

So what should you do during the leadership development sessions? The following four points explain topics you can address during these sessions.

Leadership Development

1. Provide Training

When leadership development is your number one goal, focus on helping those you lead to understand what it means to be a great leader and how they can become a great leader. Train them on the do’s and don’ts of great leadership. Also, help them understand how they can be a leader within their current roles and responsibilities. Make Your Workplace a Friendly Environment in 5 Easy Steps

This article is written by Anissa Lee, a girl with a photogenic personality. Professionally, she’s an academic consultant and writer. When not working, she spends her time doing photo shoots.

Make Your Workplace a Friendly Environment in 5 Easy Steps

If you want to attract skilled employees and keep them with you for a long time, you need to create an excellent environment for your employees. Offering an attractive salary will not suffice if you want to retain result-oriented employees and increase productivity. You need to give your employees an amazing and friendly environment to work at and you will be amazed by their devotion and productivity. Here are five easy steps that will help you achieve this goal:

1. Spend Time with Your Employees

A leader must not stay hidden. A leader must be there to lead the team and provide training every now and then. You must have a lot of load already, but as a leader it’s your responsibility to work closely with your employees. They should know that your door is always open for them and that you will always listen to them. If you want to complete your projects and achieve your goals, then you need to know the strengths and weaknesses of your employees, and you can achieve this only by staying closer and spending time with them. You’re Fired!

By Bert Somsinsawasdi on July 23, 2013 0

None of us ever want to say this or hear it. It is something we feel we won’t have to experience. Almost as if we are immune to it.  Unfortunately, it happens far too. To an HR professional, having a situation or issue rise to a level warranting termination equates to failure.  It is our role, as HR professionals, to handle escalated or complex issues/concerns and decide on the right approach. This makes each disciplinary action or review a critical one that can decide an individual’s fate.

You're Fired!

Terminations are costly, carry liability, counterproductive, and affect workforce morale. Taking appropriate steps before letting it escalate to the point of termination can prevent these detrimental outcomes. Through my personal work experience and that of others I have learned that it comes down to a few basic factors. Give each concern adequate time, provide regular training, set clear expectations, and involve subject matter experts.

Each problem should be given proper due diligence.

I have dealt with legal charges that have stemmed purely from managers not taking matters seriously. If an employee takes it upon themselves to tell you about an issue they are encountering, it is severe enough to require your consideration. Look into the matter with care, courtesy, and thoroughness. Keep in mind that follow-up with the employee who raised the concern is as important as the investigation itself. This Week’s Top 5 Leadership Posts – 6/13/2012

By Brandon W. Jones on June 13, 2012 0

The calling/responsibility of leadership is an important responsibility.  You must take it seriously because what you do as a leader each day has a major impact on where you end up long term.  The posts below are great posts because they help you to understand how to be a better leader.

Great Leaders Develops Both Themselves And Those They Lead By Beth Miller

Congratulations! You’ve worked hard to be a leader in your company. But don’t think you can sit back and relax from now on because great leaders understand that they must always be developing themselves and their employees.

Leaders lead others, but sometimes they don’t realize that the best leaders never stop improving themselves; they are passionate about learning and teaching, and their passion spreads to those who work around them.

It has been said that leaders are discovered, but really they are developed. Success is an ongoing process of improvement and adjustments.

Brandon’s Thoughts
As Beth pointed out, leaders must focus on their own improvement on a regular basis.  They must also focus on the development of those they lead.  As they train those they lead, they improve their team and the skills of their group.  The training helps their team be more successful because it will increase the overall skills.  Many leaders have a fear that training their followers is bad because it will make their followers replace them as the leader.  In reality, the opposite is more often the truth; the leaders that train their followers to be successful end up being more successful themselves.  By helping others succeed, they help themselves to move up the ladder because people see them as effective leaders.
